This gift box contains the last three editions of our fig & Sour Cherry Christmas Chutney. Each year the chutney has been made with a different barrel aged beer from a different brewery and has slightly different characteristics.
2020 Edition – Our 2020 Fig & Sour Cherry Christmas Chutney blends in a Scotch whisky barrel aged double stout from the Moor Beer Company. The beer brings a deep and boozy flavour to the chutney. This year’s edition pairs well with strong, rich and creamy cheeses!
2019 Edition – Our 2019 Fig & Sour Cherry Christmas Chutney blends in an imperial stout from Arbor Ales that’s been aging in Amarone wine barrels for over a year. The beer brings a deep and boozy flavour to the chutney. This year’s edition pairs well with rich, creamy cheeses!
2018 Edition – Our 2018 Fig and Sour Cherry Christmas Chutney blends in Electric Bear’s BA Raisin the Dead, a raisin and oatmeal stout aged in French red wine barrels. The beer brings a sweet rich flavour to the chutney. This year’s edition pairs well with semi hard cheeses such as farmhouse cheddar.
