- 1 vegetarian haggis
- 250 g beef mince
- 1 large onion diced
- 1 carrot diced
- 2 sticks celery diced
- 3-4 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 1 red pepper diced
- 1 tin chopped tomatoes
- 1 tin cannellini beans
- 1 square chocolate
- 1 glug stout
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 bottle Moor Amoor chipotle ketchup
Sautée onion until translucent then add garlic, carrot & celery and sweat down on a medium heat for 3-5 minutes.
Add the beef mince and cook through.
Next, add the stout followed by the chopped tomatoes, pepper, Moor Amoor chipotle ketchup, beans, spices & chocolate.
Simmer gently for about 30 minutes.
Stir in the cooked haggis, if the chilli is to thick add another glug of stout.
- Serve with rice, garlic bread and a dollop of crème fraiche
- If you like it hot, just add some fresh chillies
