Every year for our birthday, we create a one-off limited edition hot sauce! This year, as we celebrate our 8th birthday we have gone for something fruity and mild.
This Amarillo & Scotch Bonnet Hot Sauce is mildly hot, fruity and has a lovely zing from the barrel-aged vinegar.
Amarillo chillies, as their name indicates in Spanish, are a beautiful yellow colour with a well-rounded, mild heat. We’ve added a few Scotch Bonnet chillies to increase the heat levels just a little to bring a light tingle on the tongue.
The barrel-aged beer vinegar from Wild Beer Co in Shepton Mallet gives the sauce a really unique personality which you won’t find anywhere else and a lovely, hoppy flavour.
We love this hot sauce with tacos!
