This is no ordinary piccalilli. Our Original Ale & Chilli Piccalilli is packed full of crunchy veg and the odd bird’s eye chilli. Its immense fresh flavours originate from Electric Bear’s Werrrd!, an American pale ale. Enjoy with cold cuts, pork pies and of course your cheeseboards!

No comparison to what you buy normally in supermarkets or shops,in retrospect the brands to me always had a unbalanced blend of taste.Whereas this has a perfect balance,and even though it is classed as medium heat regarding strength,for people that are not great chilli lovers,don’t be put off,as tastes like a real piccalilli should be,and it is!Two jars gone already with one left!

I loooooove this company! My best friend lives in Bristol and told me about it a couple of years ago. My favourite offering from Ginger Beard – this is the one that got me hooked in the first place – it is quite runny, not like stodgy supermarket piccalilli – the liquid contains a big chilli punch, but it doesn’t completely overpower the beery aftertaste. Wish this came in 1 kg jars!

My only issue in all of the process, was that there was no ETA on the order confirmation email, but when I emailed to day later to ask about it the delivery arrived 20 mins later and they got in touch tk make sure I’d received it, so all in all excellent customer service. The product is astounding, I’d grown up my whole thinking it was awful due to my stepfather having a penchant for something clearly inferior, so this blew me away when my wife brought some home after a random sighting one day. Have ordered a box for my first order to distribute amongst family. Have discount, will order above free delivery freshhold again.
