Not too hot – most of the taste hangs on the beetroot as opposed to the horseradish, which presumably is there mostly to add a little heat. I think perhaps I wish you could taste the horseradish a little more, but that is nit picking really. I’ve still rated it 4/5.

This hot beetroot and horseradish relish made our Sunday lunch, the relish went well with roast sirloin, and was such a different taste to the horseradish sauce we always have, the relish had a nice kick to it , a great combination of flavours.
