Beer, bacon and chilli jam…need we say more? We have combined a stout from Arbor Ales with free-range bacon and cascabel chillies to create a delicious medium-spiced onion jam with smoky, nutty undertones – and this is our Original Beer & Bacon Chilli Jam.
Good with burgers, cheeseboards, sandwiches and straight from the jar.

We discovered ginger beards preserves at Dartmouth food festival . We bought a jar of the beer and bacon chilli jam . It was so good that we’ve already finished that jar and had to order three more for Xmas . Such great flavour combinations and just the right amount of spice . So far we’ve had it with burgers , sandwiches and cheese and biscuits. We also bought some other ginger beards preserves ( can’t remember which ones) but haven’t used them yet . Really exciting flavour combinations . Ginger beard is a talented man with great taste buds. Far more interesting flavour combinations than anything you will find in a supermarket. I highly recommend.

The jar is enormous!!! Bought in a small version at a Christmas market this was loved by all so buying this seemed the way to go. Lovely kilner jar so can be reused .. show a photo to highlight this and I would divide up the website into sections ie pickles, gift sets, jams etc to make the website easier and quicker to navigate. Yes. You did say it. Beer AND bacon. Two of the finest things present right now on this pale blue dot peacefully coexisting, suspended, within a glass jar.
This actually exists and yes – it is as good as it sounds.
I would suggest giving it a try on toasted cheese. “Worcester sauce? Whut’s that..?” you’ll say…and just like it says on the jar; you’ll find yourself with a fork munching it straight from the jar at some point in time.
